Environmental Protection/Advocacy Volunteer Opportunities

Environmental action groups and other similar organizations that are actively seeking individuals who are willing, on a voluntary basis without remuneration, to work for the passage and enforcement of laws and other social measures that will more effectively protect the physical environment from pollution, exploitation or waste and/or preserve natural resources, including wildlife, for enjoyment by future generations. Volunteers may be asked to work on specific initiatives, e.g., protection of a particular endangered species, mandates for cleaner burning fuels, or measures that protect the oceans and their ability to support marine life; or on more general environmental advocacy projects.
